To change this is the task of Klaus Feldmann, a handball expert from Germany, who is since 15th April on the road promoting handball in the Western Cape. The short-term sports development project abroad from the German Olympic Sports Confederation is implemented in partnership with the South African Handball Federation (SAHF) and the Western Province Handball Association (WPHA). Handball is one of the most played team sports in the world and an exciting, fast-moving, high-speed game. But in South Africa Handball is almost unknown. This will be changed soon. From the 15th April to the 22nd of May, a Handball Road-Show will take place in the Western Province. A German Handball Expert, Klaus Feldmann, will visit South Africa as part of a short-term sport development project in partnership with the German Olympic Sports Confederation and financed by means of the German Federal Foreign Office.
